S.T.A. Lotion (500 ml)

S.T.A. Lotion is a potent astringent formulation designed for the treatment of various skin conditions in dogs, including acute moist dermatitis (“hot spots”) and undesirably tender foot pads.

Composition:

• Salicylic acid 8% m/v – keratolytic, bacteriostatic, and fungicidal properties

• Tannic acid 8% m/v – astringent

• Alcoholic base

Mode of Action:
The combination of salicylic acid, tannic acid, and alcohol provides a powerful astringent effect that:

• Precipitates protein

• Debrides necrotic tissue

• Cleanses and sterilises affected areas

• Supports the granulation and healing process

Indications:

• Treatment of acute moist dermatitis (“hot spots”)

• Toughening of foot pads in dogs when pads are too tender

Directions for Use:

• For topical use only in animals.

• Apply undiluted to affected skin lesions with a swab every 8 hours until lesions have dried.

• To toughen foot pads, apply undiluted to foot pads and between toes.

Precautions:

• Flammable – keep away from open flames.

• Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.

• 500 ml opaque white polyethylene bottle

Storage:

• Store in a cool place, protected from light.

• Keep the cap tightly closed.
